Tottenham have “unequivocally rejected” takeover interest, including a reported £4.5bn approach from US tech investor Brooklyn Earick. ENIC, the club’s majority owner, said it remains committed and has no intention to sell.
The bid, reported by The Sun, would have eclipsed Chelsea’s 2022 sale. Spurs, Europa League winners last season, saw Daniel Levy step down as chairman earlier this month. Manager Thomas Frank said the rejection provides a “stable environment” ahead of the Premier League meeting with Wolves.
